sp2 + max2009 oddness?

Have been running SP2 and Max2009 for a few days now and have experienced some 'oddness' -

1. vray frame buffer disapears when the materials editor is left open during a render

2. the 'use object material' option for displacement doesn't seem to work

3. two or more objects can't share the same vray displacement modifier (although I'm not sure if this was ever possible?)

Anyone else experiencing the same kind of things?

oh yes, and..

4. vray ies lights seem to upset DR - some buckets seem to ignore the light from these lights - license server is sp2, all nodes running sp2 and all spawners are sp2/max2009 spawners

I haven't had time to look at the other number, but can confirm that I am also experiencing number 1

I'm running MaxDesign 32bit and am not experiencing #1. If I get time I'll test the others.
