  • LC and IM are black during large render

I have been working on this scene for the past week or so and it is time to render the high res final (4200 pixels). The issue is that the LC and IM do not work. The LC simply renders black and the IM shows a very pixelated image with bright pixels (not native to IM). The thing is that I can render an image with the same settings at 2400 pixels. I've tried storing the LC/IM and still the same result. Bitmap paging on and dynamic is set to 3000.

System: dual xeons, 4 gigs of ram with 3 gig switch

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

One more thing, I am rendering to Vray VFB and the reder passes are rendering correctly, just not the RGB color.

Have you tried turning off the memory frame buffer and rendering out to a .vrimg file?

Ok. I rendered out to a .vrimg file. I have read some posts regarding what to do with this file (coverting it to a different file type). Can anyone explain how to do this and save out the channels? I also rendered to the VFB but it does not allow me to save out manually. It says error creating bitmap.

      Thanks,

You're simply going out of ram.
