  • V-ray stops rendering after the ME have been opened

    Hi...

After opening the Material Editor the scene will no longer render. Nothing is happening when I press the render button (I still get the v-ray rendersettings dialog). If I open the file again and hit render without opening the ME, it renders fine. The slots in the ME is not updating/showing properly either, so perhaps a ME problem...?

    Anybody seen this one before?

    Thanks from Chris.

I haven't come across this before... which 3ds Max / V-Ray version is this?

    Best regards,
    Vlado

In the process of exporting the objects over to a new file (lots of opening and closing), the ME started to update itself again... and then the rendering also worked again... Hm...

Weird, but I'm glad it works now...

Might be/have been some odd materials in the ME. Try Utils->Condense in ME.
