  • DR and Batch render - slaves suddenly stop

    Vray sp2 x64 + max9 x64 (as usually )

And I'm having smth odd. I added 4 vray phys.cameras in batch. Started rendering, but when I came to office today - I can only see, that only master machine renders the second camera (of 4). And there's nothing unusuall in logs. No warnings or whatever.

I looked at time stamps in file settings and found, that slaves exited on 26-th frame (1-st cam).

I need to render this scene.

Any ideas on how to make it render again ? I can't watch every frame and resume render...

I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Yes this does happen, i think it happens for the same reason you cant do animations with DR.. i beleive this will be fixed very soon.

But i guess Vlado would know more on the matter..

You will have to use batch network render and splitline option .. : )
