    Hi varak,

Could it be the same problem as this thread?

    http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...rboard+drivers

The problem was solved by disabling the snoop feature in the bios - whatever that is .

Sorry, no idea. It just sounded like it could be the same problem. I remember the thread because I have the same processors as stevesideas.

The only think I could suggest is have a look in the bios and see if you can see this 'snoop' feature and disable it. I wouldn't go changing anything else though. Unless you really know what you're doing as you could do more harm than good.

Other than that try PMing stevesideas, he might be willing to help.

Did you receive my reply ? The snoop feature was in my motherboard bios. You will have to look around for it, but it should be there.

              problem solve

Hi thanks for your help and i got your PM.

              Well it's hidden in

              1) adv/mem config/mem ras&perf configuration/snoop filter

              2) adv/processor configuration/hardware prefetcher (speculative pre-fetch)

              thanks
