  • vrayspherefade problem

Only just started using this in an animation job. I want to 'add in' a couple of posters on a wall. I hoped to use the vrayspherefade to just render the portion of the image I need from a saved solution (the posters do not generate GI so they should be fine).

I am trying to work out what the bright area is on the vrayspherefade version as this is incorrect. Any ideas?

If I render with Render Region I get this: (this is correct)

If I use the VraySphereFade, I get this: (odd)

Here's a screengrab of the viewport:

Are you using linear workflow? I've had problems with burning in the gamma at 2.2 and saving files as .tga's

We've had to start saving out anything using vraysherefades with exr's and saving the gamma as 1.0 on those files. Which is a bit of a pain.

    Anyone know of another workaround.

I ended up scrapping this idea due to time constraints so never really solved it. We are using a pseudo LWF (though burning in gamma at image save time)
