  • DMC antialiasing ignores output values

    Hello,

I have scene with Vraylight dome.(no gi) For texture in the light I'm using mix map in which I'm mixing up two noise maps.. whatever... When I change values in the map in the Output rollout for example RGB Offset or RBG level it works fine with Adaptive subdivision AA type. When I switch to Adaptive DMC AA type these changes in the values are ignored. I've tried to put the mix map into the Output map but results are the same... of course I can solve this problem without bigger problems.. has anyone same problem? (3dsmax x64 2008, Vray 1.50 SP2)

It is odd because the environment is in both cases calculated in the exact same way. How does it look if you use Fixed AA with 1 sample per pixel? Also, do any of your environment textures have explicit UVW mapping?

    Best regards,

Well I tried completely new scene and it works really fine without any problems... (no idea what was the cause of this strange behaving) Thanks for your time
