We're in the process of trying to precalculate several IR and LC maps for an animation project. We've been having problems with the IR maps and LC maps not saving automatically when they are complete, even though we have specified a save location and have autosave on as a redundant measure. I can watch the IR map calculate fine on screen but the file size of the IR map file never changes throughout this process.
Our setup:
-Multiframe Incremental Mode
-Range set to animation length
-Every Nth frame set to 8
-Don't render final image checked
-Vray 1.5 SP2 (64bit)
-Windows XP (64bit)
Unless I manually click "save" at the end of the calculations, the files don't seem to save on their own which makes automating this process not possible. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happenign and why? Thank you in advance, MP
