  • adding material darkenes scene

Hi....We have a simple interior for a kiosk we are doing. It already has a floor and clg and we were NOT putting a material on it, just cause it was a massing study. But when we do add ANY material, the entire scene gets dark. We have ONE vray Sun and that is it. Glass is turned off. Any ideas?

    Thanx

It darkens even if you put the same material as the original one?

    Best regards,

The material comes in as a global arch material from cad, the minute we change it to a vray mat, the scene darkens

the global arch material is based on the raytrace material and will cause problems with vray.
If you look in the vraylog when you render it will tell you what is happening

I am not using the global arch one, it just comes in and then we replace it with a standard vray mat. I will upload the scene for ya
