Has anyone had this problem with material libraries before?
When I pick a vray material from my mat library it has sometimes changed to a different material from that library, for example, I choose aliminium but upon opening in the material editor find that it has taken on the settings of maple and that maple has taken on the settings of leather.
Which materials take on the properties of others seems to be random but it takes on those properties every time so aliminium will always have the settings of maple even if I find the aliminium material (masquerading as coffee for example) and resave it as such?
If anyone knows of a solution or cause that would be great, otherwise I'll have to rememeber which is which ;S
I should point out now that it's not a free or hooky version of Vray that I'm using, I'm on Vray 1.50 SP1 with Max 9 SP2.
