  • Mystery Horizon/Alpha Channel

    Hey Guys,
Have a scene looking out onto the beach and i'm getting strange alpha. I'd like to comp a beach photo into the BG but can't get a proper alpha because of this "rendering anomaly" i guess you could call it. I'll post a shot of the still and a shot of the alpha. Let me know what u guys think, and no there's no object there. That grey/black area should of course be all black.

Looks like you have a VrayPlane in your scene.

Nah rudd. The black part is the alpha. There are no objects out in my environment. I would be the third guy in my studio to get this error on 3 separate projects.

It is easy. It is vray dome light without invisible turned off
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?
