  • Is VRayToon distortion map working?

    Is the VRayToon distortion map feature working?

    No matter what kind of map I put in it, I get no effect.

    Also - anyone know how to render the toon lines out as a only render element and not have them composited in the image?

    You would typically put a 2D noise in it, set to screen map mode, and you may need to push the map amount values well beyond 100 to be able to see the effect.

    There is no way to exclude the lines from the normal rendering though.

      I stuck a flat white shader in the override material and got almost exactly what I was after.

      (Edit: User a white VRayLightMaterial --- muuuucccchhh faster!)
