  • Animated proxy triangulation

    Vlado-
Just come across this interesting problem.
I have made an animated proxy of this fairy and it renders fine in the scene but when I add it to a PFLOW system as an animated shape instance it becomes triangulated as seen in the attached render.

Any ides why this might happen?

could that be the the proxy viewport preview converted to mesh?

Looks cooler than the actual model

Yep, PFlow simply takes the viewport preview of the proxy.

There was a script somewhere that made actual instances of the proxy at the locations of the particles, but PFlow cannot do this natively.

              thats annoying.
The animated proxy was a nice efficient option to use.
