Dirt doesn't work with dof

If you're using QMC for your AA, it may have something to do with the amount of samples. Someone presented a similar thing a while ago. Essentially, the DOF is demanding too many of the samples and thus making the dirt very low quality/barely visible, so you need to feed it more samples - increase the Max. Check if Adaptive Subdivision gives a different result to confirm this.

Well nothing much to share.
There's Vray blend material mixing metal material and slightly rusty metal.
Then there's rusty/dirty metal material with high bump.
These materials are mixed using dirt.
In this newest version all above is mixed with totally clean material using edgetex. That's how I get clean and shiny edges and corners.
All materials have bump map mixed ueing bitmap and edgetex to get round corners.
Not totally happy yet, but getting there.
I can send material later, but that will be missing all Dosch textures.
