Using irradience map viewer

Hello everyone , can anyone please help me using irradience map viewer?
i run the imapviewer.exe from the tools folder, with open i open the vrmap file and then i always get a grey screen after the programs holding for a bit.

You can move around by left clicking and dragging your mouse. By rightclicking and dragging you can zoom in and out. It could be by default you're too much zoomed in or out, or not facing the right way.

The way the viewer shows the initial view might have to do with system/scene units.

I'm experiencing the same grey screen to start with but remember having used the viewer which showed me a good view when I opened an IRmap. It might have to do with units, or sceneposition in relation to 0,0,0, i dunno.
