Shadow problems

Hi u all !

I have a problem with my shadows from physical sun...
as you can see in the images, the shadow on the right wall just doesn´t fit with the shadow on the floor...

can anyone tell me what is wrong here ?
i noticed this a several times already, but just didn´t care.

Is it your shadow bias ? You may want to lower it... It almost looke like you have 2 lights in the scene casting different shadows.

i´ll try the bias setting. there is definitly only one sunlight in the scene.

And no, the painting is from Helle Jetzig, a german artist.

It was the shadow bias...
I forgot it was set to 20cm...
