    do anywone know how to make a realistic material or model like hedge taxus

    I cant get a realistic effect with displacment.

        I made this with 6 different leafs with different colors using the scatter tool.



        Each leaf has its own scatter box. The boxes are all scaled differently. When finished i made a proxy of the entire object. Maybe you can do something like this as well.

              If you have a site covered in hedges, do the above, then make it a proxy, then have several of them grouped together and use pathdeform. At least I think you can do that - maybe not with a proxy?

              If you can't do that with a proxy don't proxify it, just use the dynamic option.
