vraydirt+vraydisplacementMod = max crash

    hi,
    is it normal that max crashes, when i apply the vraydirtmat to the vraydisplacementMod??
    I thought i could do some nice 3d-transitions between different objects. but this does not
    seem to work. as soon as i hit the renderbutton, max says goodbye.

    I guess that's because that would cause a dependency loop. The dirt changes the mesh topology wich would in turn change the dirt. I gueess you'd have to bake th dirt into a texture.

      Yeah you got a chicken-or-egg thing going on there. Which does it calculate first? The Dirt depends on the geometry/displacement.
