  • volume light and vrayproxy????

    Hello all,

I have a big problem to create volume light in my scene.
I want to render a forest scene with a lot of vray proxy trees...
As far as I know, the only way to create volume light in vray is to use shadow map...
But shadowmaps does not work with vray proxy. on the other hand, when I use vrayshadowmap (for the proxies), vrayshadowmap does not work with the volume light funktion...
Other solutions like render out a Zdepth pass an fake volume light in photoshop does´n´t work.
I want to use the scene for my christmas-wishes to our clients so I need a fast solution.
    Any Ideas???

    Kind regards
    chris

Until SP3 Comes out you could use geometry trees instead.
Two heads are better than one ...
....but some head is better than none.....

        Hello,

fog doesnt create these typical kind of rays, that volume light do...
I tried fog and volume fog too... no good results.
        Waiting for SP3

        regards
