I'm working on a scene where I'm dropping in some objects over a photograph by reconstructing the objects in it, camera matching the perspective & setting them to Matte Objects in the V-Ray properties.
This all works as expected - apart from an odd issue that the environment I have behind the objects doesn't render 'cleanly', it looks noisy/unfiltered.
Here's an example:
Background image

Alpha of matte object

Render

Close up of problem area

It's not hugely important as I'm going to comp everything in photoshop & won't actually use the raw renders, but the image is very large & it would be nice if my test renders were closer to the finished article.
Any ideas?
Cheers.
