Projecting Shadows

Hello everybody,

I want to cast some shadows of a tree in my interior in scanline i used an target spot with an black&white image of an tree in the projector map slot but that doesn't seem to work in Vray can anybody tell which way to go!

why not just use a plane with an opacity mapped tree on it. Exclude it from any reflections and put it out of view of camera. This way you'll get your shadows but not see the tree. (It sounds like that is what you want)

What Max-version, what VRay-version?

Max 2008, VRay 1.5 SP2 - Spot with BW-bitmap: works fine for me!
