  • Antialiasing

I would like to know what antialiasing is better to use in animation. I have problem about it...the animation is getting "noise". I am using adaptive subdivision, but I did test with DMC and didn't work well.

A lot of it will depend on what's causing the noise - most of the blurry effects such as glossies reflections, dof, motion blur and area lights all use dmc so it makes more sense to stick with DMC aa - the main thing is going to be going through your scene to find out what's causing the noise and then adjusting your settings to solve that without slowing things down too much.

Noise happens mainly in regions very detailed as vegetation, for example.

      thanks.
