  • NormalMap don't work with VrayProxy

    The problem is in the title.
    version Vray 1.5 sp2

    With Standard material NormalMap is not rendering correctly and with VrayMtl it render nothing.

    Yep, I cannot fix this unfortnately. The 3ds Max Normal map specifically requires that the underlying object is a 3ds Max triangle mesh.

      Yes, but perhaps you can add a "VrayNormalMap" node to fix this kind of bug.

          I fully endorse the idea of a VrayNormalMap! I'm starting to use them more and more. They're perfect for tree bark but because of this proxy thing i'm avoiding them for that purpose for now.
