  • SP3 License error

When install SP3 i cannot obtain the license from my server any more. I also tried quickly installing the wibu-key on my local machine, plugged in dongle and that didn't work either.

You also need to restart the VRLService if you haven't already tried that.

You need to update the V-Ray license server; the screenshot above is from the WIBU key network server, which you don't need at all and which has no relation to V-Ray.

          Best regards,

              Hi

I got the same problems, but I feel somewhat lost as I don't know how to update my V-Ray license server. I always just download the latest install, install it and then everything just work right. Isn't the newest version of the Vray license server in the new SP3 install. Am I stupid now?

// I am sorry but my shortcut to the license server was for max 2008 and I run max 2009. Why the switch I don't know but now it is working correctly//

When I'm trying to update, I have a message saying "vrlservice.exe is running", wich is not... I closed it from the manage box, and uninstalled the service from the ChaosGroup rollout in the start program.

In the task manager, there is no vrlservice.exe process...

There is a way around that??

( can not try the reboot as the license is on the main server, used by all users all the time)

                Thanks

In the task manager, did you turn on the "Show processes from all users" option?

                  Best regards,
