standard max region render issue after installing vray SP3

the VFB renders something completely different than i select with classic region render tool in max...

dont know why really? any hints?

Which 3ds Max version? Do you have a scene for this? Works fine for me on a simple test.

I remember something like that in a previous max version if I render anything but a camera view.
(although that was before sp3's time)

whole max 9 behaves weird with this scene open...at least on my comp
