I thought Id start another thread regarding this matter. I have a scene with a dome light being used for reflection only. I am happy to use the max default lights for this scene as it is quick enough.
The default light settings provide the following result:
off with GI: renders as though a max default light is present
on: renders as though a max default light is present
off: renders as though no default lights are present. Only dome light reflection is visible on the objects.
So, when I turn on DR and use default lights on why does the render now only show the dome light reflection as though default max lights are off ??
(Thats why I thought my maps were missing, but it's actually the light)
