  • Motion Blur Not 3D????

I'm trying to create some motion blurred car headlights in a night scene, the cars are on a curved street and it is a long exposure so the headlights should follow the curve of the street but they just appear as straight segments along the curve. So is vray motion not 3d or am I using some wrong setup? Is there a way to get a curved motion blur?

The motion blur is fully 3d; you just need to increase the geometry samples of the objects that move. You can either do this globally from the "Geometry samples" parameter in the motion blur section of the Render Scene dialog; or you can do this per-object from the V-Ray Object Settings dialog.

    Best regards,
