  • vrayproxy- import as mesh sometimes work and sometimes dont

I know this feature work because I used it before.
But it sometimes work and sometimes dont.
And I cant understand when it stops working and what is related with. Or is it a bug?

What happens when it doesn't work?

    Best regards,

I've had some proxy-->mesh conversions take around 2-3 minutes (trees for instance). Max appears locked up but if you just let it sit it will come back. Maybe yours is a different problem though.
      www.dpict3d.com - "That's a very nice rendering, Dave. I think you've improved a great deal." - HAL9000... At least I have one fan.

It will typically be a lot faster if you un-check the "Weld vertices" option before the import.

when it doesnt work, it is imported into the scene as proxy.
It does not come as mesh.

problem is not the time. I tried few times and it doesnt work.
I reset max and tried again but no luck. I cant import proxy as mesh.

Can you send me one of these proxies that you can not convert to vlado@chaosgroup.com?

            Best regards,

Thanks Vlado.I already solved the problem. The meshes get located at a very far point. I dont know why this happen as the proxies pivot point does not match with this point.
              Anyway, problem is solved

Now I see that this point is origin.
I always check the option to have the proxies their original pivots but for this one it seems I have forgotten to make this.
Sorry for confusion. And thanks for care.
