Hi, I'm having the following issue. It's a small bug but nonetheless bothersome.
If you're rendering a scene at, say, 2000x1500 and region render inside the new VFB, save and close the scene (without switching off the region render), then re-open, change the rendering size so that the previous render region (that you can't edit anyways before hitting render at least once so VRay generates it VFB) falls outside the bounds of the new rendering size, and hit render, VRay crashes and brings max down with it. (Max 2009 SP1 64bit)
I looked at vray's log and it seems to crash at the Irradiance Map. The LC rendered correctly albeit it returned 0 samples, but at least didn't crash. On another instance it would crash at the "preparing tone operator" stage.
As a footnote I've been using DR on all of the scenes. In order to get rid of the problem you have to start a render using the original render size in order to get to the VFB and disable region rendering, or use the max VFB.
Regards,
Jorge
