I consider this as a tiny bug. perhaps you don't.
When hiding the cameras, especially when you have vertical shift keyed, shows "uncorrected" viewports. When you render an animation where you have keyed the vertical shift parameter, it will not render the images with the correction if the cameras are hidden...
