Copy Plugins vs 'Installing'

Attempting to go from 1.5.00sp2 to 1.5.00sp3a

Previously I've been able to simply copy the plugins from a single install of vray to the 50 other render nodes on our farm. With sp1.5 sp3, I receive a
127- The Specified procedure could not be found.
error code and the all the plugins fail to load.

The two required plugin paths are in my .ini

If I step through the installer. There are no new files in the max folder, but it now works.

Is there now some registry entry or something I'm missing???

did you copy all of them including the ones in the vrayplugins subdirectory ?

Yeah.. I added a deletefile and then copy and that seems to be working....
