  • sp3/sp3a region bad issue ?

    Hi !
First of all, many thanks for this sp3a build.. just awesome !

I have a really bad issue with Vray VFB region with SP3a :

    (context : max2009 64, vista64, Vray sp3a.)

    here's the problem :
i make a render @ 1600*1200 with Vray VFB. I turn ON the region button in VFB, and choose a square in the bottom of the image.

Later, i change the resolution to 800*600, and make a render.
The region has became a red line at the bottom of the image, and the render run an "infinite" lightcache. The cancel button does nothing.
Strangely, while doing that, max toolbars and menus are usable (!!??)

    Here's the big deal :
    - I can't cancel the rendering
    - if i save my scene, i've a strange error (0) and my scene is crushed !! i can't reopen it, thanks to the autoback files for saving my work.
    - After that, even if i close/relaunch max, it works not properly. (ctrl+z don't work !!)
    - The only way is to restart the computer...

It's important enough to my eyes to talk about that here.

btw, is it possible to manage the Vray VFB region on/off via maxscript ?

    Thanks !

Yep, we are aware of the issue; there wasn't much time to fix it for the release unfortunately.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.

i understand the most important is that you're aware.

i suppose that the solution will be to resize the region area according to the res ?

any maxscript tip to manage the on/off region ?

      Best regards,
      Jérôme Prévost.
