Missing File problem

I have a file that i am working on and when i send it to the render server I get the following error -- [V-Ray] Error opening HDRI file"...filename...''

Ok the file is not there, it shouldn't be. We don't use that server anymore. I have relinked all the files to the new server. My problem is that i can't find where this path is still being used. I have looked through the materials. I have used several scripts that look for missing files, but non ever even mention that file path. That is until i send it to our render server.

How in the world can i find this and get rid of it??

this catches me out somtimes in the evironment texture in a material. even if it is unticked

Check paths via asset tracker?
Merge all into the new scene. Max sometimes leaves behind "invisible" objects which crete these sorts of problems.
