  • some white spots

Hi everyone, this has been a mystery for me since I started using Vray 1.5. I don't know what issue it is and so I'm unsure of how to look for it if there was a thread on it already. Anyway if you guys can help out, linking a thread or sharing some solutions. Please don't hesitate.

By the way, I adjusted my adaptive dmc by 1 (min) 100 (max) it seemed to have solve those white spots in the interiors. But here, it doesn't seem to work. I tried to turn off the sun visibility both in the light and vray sky. I also tried to lower the camera exposure. But with no success.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but i think that the sun - even if invisible - still produces specular reflections. and that white spot looks to me like one.
also turn subpixel mapping on, as well as clamping - that could help.

Thanks! sub pixel mapping did the job. I hope I don't encounter anymore of it. Is there a downside for using sub pixel mapping option in the color mapping options? But anyway, most importantly is that you gave me the best solution so far. Thank you, problem solved for now
