  • VrayProxy as reference object - no opacity?

    Hello,

I've got a general question about VrayProxy. Is it right that VrayProxies don't show any kind of material with transparency in it when they are used as reference object?

    Here's my scenario:
I'm using four different meshes with leaf maps as particles for generating gras with ParticleFlow. To enhance the render time I've thought to create a VrayProxy of each mesh. But in the render there are no particles shown. Materials without anything in the opacity map channel will be displayed correctly.
The same thing with Hair and Fur using the meshes as Instance Nodes...

Where's my mistake? I can't find anything about in the help files.

ParticleFlow will not work right away with VRayProxy objects. There is a script that can place VRayProxy (or other) objects at the place where the particles are though, so you can try searching for that.

    Best regards,
