  • VFB region render

    Hi All

    sometimes i work on a scene using region render by the Vray frame buffer and i exit max and when reopening the scene and lauching High definition rendering in vrimg the region render was still enabled.
    is there a script to disable the region render or a script to make appear the VFB while no render has been launch before ?

    thanks for your answers.

    hi,
    the vray framebuffer can't be controlled via maxscript, unfortunately.

      It's not possible to do this right now, but we'll be adding support for MaxScript to the V-Ray frame buffer for the next builds.

      Best regards,

          hi vlado,

          what are the possible variables, that can be set in the vrayvfb.ini? i just see

          [History]
          Enabled=1
          Path=D:\temp
          MaxDiskSize=1024
          MaxImages=100

          besides your post about future maxscript control, which i really support, it is may be already possibloe to control the vfb easily through the ini right? what i would love is to change the default e.g. to show specific rendeelement or activate "track mouse" feature, etc..

            For disabling the region render through MaxScript, please see this thread: http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...897#post429897

            We will be adding MaxScript methods for the other VFB properties as well.

            Best regards,
            Vlado
