Region Render VFB

leaving my secne for some days with region render VFB Activated and reopening it today, i lanch the render and then Max crash during message " Preparing Tone operator ", the vray log is :

[2009/Jun/18|10:33:15] Calling beginFrame().
[2009/Jun/18|10:33:15] Entering beginFrame().
[2009/Jun/18|10:33:15] Setting RenderGlobalContext.
[2009/Jun/18|10:33:15] Broadcasting NOTIFY_RENDER_PREEVAL.
[2009/Jun/18|10:33:15] Updating the tone operator.

i reinitalize Vray by the common pannel, by switching scanline and Vray and the scene rendering don't crash any more.

Is there an issue to reinitialize the region rendering of the Frame buffer because however rendering works i lost all my parameters.

could you just tell if this resolution changing can cause crash?
