  • A vray bug? (if at all Vray...)

This is a problem I am getting but I am not sure it is Vray's fault.

I have spot light (A free light not vraylight or vrayIES) Assemblies with an IES file with a default value of arount 600
    - I changed the value to 10000 and closed the assembly.
some times the value is reset to the 600
I made sure that the value is not keyed.

    any ideas ?

Which 3ds Max version is this? Perhaps creating a key for the value will stop it from resetting.

    Best regards,

It also happend with a couple of regular Vray Lights .

      I will try keying it.

I too have also noticed this happening and kept thinking I was going crazy. I would adjust light multiplier intensities for both standard and vray lights and save the scenes. These scenes had a 50/50 chance of reseting the multiplier values after the scenes were opened again. (Max 2008/2009)
