    are you splitting the render channels in the vray frame buffer? or are you saving to an EXR?

      I dont work with EXR as I only output it to Photoshop

        unless you save to a format which supports multiple channels, elements won't be saved in a single file. as jack suggests you can split them, and have each channel as an independent file.

          in the Vray frame buffer options in the render setup there is an option to "split render channels"

            Will check this option- I never knew it existed.(usually not using VFB)
