  • render error - dark object, corner bright

    Hello,

I have a strange problem and are wondering what could be the problem.

We are rendering an interior scene with a direct light as sun and GI. On the picture you see bright corners which should be dark.
Can anybody say what we are doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance...d.

looks like you need some more GI samples.
What GI settings are you using?

You can try reducing the light cache sample size and/or turning off the "Store direct light" option for the light cache.

        Best regards,

            Thanks again, for your comments!

            @ Vlado
I tried both, and it changed a little bit the appearance but the main problem remains.

            @ Da_elf
you mean in Irradiance Map/ Basic Parameters - rollout?
It is turned off, if you mean that.

            Any other ideas?
