milky glowing plexiglass?

My client has stated that he wants the front of the desk, where the logo is to be glowing milky Plexiglas. Basically a white bg with the logo, but glowing. I have the logo in the scene now using a vray light material set on 2.5, but I still am not getting any glowing. I also put a vray light plane above the logo, but that didn't help either. Any suggestions on how I could achieve this.

For the glow effect the way to go is do it in post because at the moment it's not supported at rendertime

For the milky glass you can try to fake it with a 2sided material with a vraylight behind it (faster)

The more realistic way is to make a white glass with a lot of blurry refraction and a set of linear lights (simulating fluorescent tubes) behind the glass and along its border (longer)
