  • rough plaster_strange result

i face the problem, that i get a strange result as i want to make a facade with a rough plaster structure.
i use a celular map as bump map, and it works just fine on the balcony. but on the parts of the facade below it gives a strange result.
both objects are extruded splines. i work with max9+vraysp3a

It can be because of double faces.

        thanks for your replies,
its not coplanar geometry, but the fact that just the above side of an extruded object has this strange appearence.
any suggestions how i can fix this?

Are your objects using the same UV mapping?? Have you scaled any geometry??

Try collapsing your 2 objects into one object...put your UV map on top of the collapsed object & all problems should be solved.

            thanks for the hint.
didnt use uvw map as i used a procedural map.
it works with uvw mod on each object first and then connect the objects.
