I have a scene that keeps crashing with this error:

error: UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: Irradiance map thread
Last marker is at .\src\vray.cpp, line 2714: GlobalIllumLightDesc::Illuminate()

It is a scene of vines/leaves overtaking the inside of a truck.. There are about 3.6M faces.. No crashes when I render single frames, but start rendering an animation and it crashes each frame..

Which 3ds Max version are you using? 32- or 64-bit?

I have a very simple scene doing this, it crashes with unhandled exception after every frame on the IR pre pass and also on the final render after every frame

they key being after the frame is done, and outputted the data just fine. So the render is progressing along but backburner is restarting each slave each frame adding 30 seconds down time i suppose.

This scene is very simple, 10 objects moving about, might be very very easy for you to track down the problem. The only thing i can think of that is any different to my normal scenes is that i have two objects not visible to camera.
