hiiihooo!
well i posted some distributed bucket rendering problems some time ago and well its still not solved and still sucks
the scene i used uses no texture and lightcache from file
welllll i get different bright buckets from my slaves ONLY during irradience calculation....
!!====>>welllllll i at least found out that its somehow connected to dark areas and especially shadows...
!!====>>and when i am using brutefoce/bruteforce the problem is gone !!!!!! but i dondt use this for any kind of renderings ;(((
!!hmmm the rendering itself looks absolutly correct.)
i dondt wave any darker blured spots.. blured spots and i made an animation wich doesent flicker .. but its so confusing to see dark black buckets during rendering calculation ;(
hmmm well so its no problem for the end result but i get a heart attack every time this happens *G
well i post an example and u see the same scene
-one with a very dark room with very strong differences..
-then the same one with back wall removed. more light and less of the effect..
-and on the right side the same one with and without shadows.
i only used one slave.. gamma 2.2 lwf same values turning off gamma decreases the effekt but the picture is super dark of course and my machine uses color calibration, but i also turned it off for tests and when i set my machine to 16 bit colors its getting closer to the dark buckets
hmm the dark ones look like 16 bit overexposed.. there are colors apearing wich are not actually there.. could the grfaik card and settings influence the irradience ?
and changing values form "," to "." doesent do a thing
if u have some crazy ideas please postem.. )) thx again and rendering irradience on only one machine is NO solution for me , hope win7 on all machines solves it but hmm dondt belive microsoft can help me with this one
