  • licence error again!!!

    hey,

again i have the licence problem, could not abtain a licence (0).
i allready updated the vray licence server with the one vlado send me, but no change.

it happens when i change the intensity of a light.
and when i open the materialeditor the vray log gives this message: no camera view, rendering frame at time 0, and this for all materialeditor slots!

i allready wrote u vlado - and this is just to be sure that someone else has an answer for me, because i have a deadline today!

    so please HELP ME
    all the best

The reason for the error is the very large gap in the communication between V-Ray and the license server, so the license server thinks the connection is dropped. Not quite sure why this happens, but several things that come to my mind are textures that may need to be fetched through the network, or if the machine is heavily loaded and does something else in the meantime (swapping to disk or running other programs), things like these.

    Best regards,
    Vlado

        still all very instabile!
just closing the render dialog takes a long time.
quiting rendering takes a long time allso.

        so all very unsatisfying.

I had that (209) error, after that it was all (0), did the file update then it stoped, now I am wondering if it is just going to start happening again...weirdness.
