vray mesh export error [solved]

I keep getting this message when I try and create vray proxies of objects. It has been working fine in the past until now?

Error is as follows:

There was an error creating the .vrmesh file for node
''Tree/1m/bark/seed_01'':
[Vutils::subdivideMeshToFile] Cannot create ''L:\Trees\Distance Tree
\Models\Proxy Repository\Tree Proxy Folder
Folder\Tree/1m/bark/seed_01.vrmesh''

Any help anyone can offer would be great.

Solved

Because I have forward slashes /// in the name of the object I am trying to export it fails, as it duplicates the name including forward slashes /// as the 'file name'. Windows does not support forwards slashes in file names.
