  • vraylight and vraydirt problem

    Hello,

is it possible to ignore the vraylight plane from a vraydirt material ?
Lets say i have walls with a vraydirt material and a light plane, well i have "dirt" where the light intersects the wall.

    THanks!

Check "work with transparency" in vraydirt. Posting this from memory but I think this cleared it up.

curious that it works this way...I would imagine excluding light from the incl/exl list in occlusion would be the way to go but its not.

I thought this was strange behavior as well. It seems to me that needing lights to occlude geo would be the exception and not the rule.

Light sources are physical objects; light does not come out of nowhere
