Does anyone know if there's a way to run DR spawners for two versions of max at the same time? I am running into problems using DR for Max9 now that I've installed max 2010. I'd like to continue using max9 for our model products so that we know our max files will be compatible going back to version 9.
If I run the spawner that's meant for max9, it constantly starts, closes, and restarts, over and over again. It doesn't matter if the spawner for max2010 is running or not. And it doesn't seem that the spawner for 2010 will recognize a DR request from max9. So, for the moment it seems like I'm out of luck and that I may have to do all my modeling in max2010 and then export/import models into max9, rebuild materials...etc. Equals quite a bit of extra prep time.
Solutions? Workarounds? Anyone have ideas?
