  • A list of error codes would be nice

I would like if there were a listing of the error codes.

For instance, i'm currently getting the:

"Could not obtain a licence (1002)" when trying to access my render dialog box,

however the localhost:30304 shows that there doesn't appear to be a problem with the lic server, AND it is working when i hit render, i simply cannot change any settings...

i'm going to guess that if i knew what 1002 was i could find a cure pretty quickly

    Running list:
Could not obtain a licence (1002) - Not enough GUI licences available
Could not obtain a licence (9) - Error reading licence from Dongle

Well, to follow up quickly, looking at the session lists and a little tracert, i figured it out that a coworker had stolen my GUI licence when he didn't start his lic server prior to rendering?

Odd, can't say as I've had that one happen before!

Next up, "Could not obtain a licence (9)"

From experience, that one is a dongle failure of some sort, unplugging and replugging the dongle usually fixes it.

Also briefly a "Could not obtain a licence (98 )" came up, but i think that was just me reopening the render dialog before the wibu key was fully initialized! but adding it for the record

The 1002 error means that currently all user interface licenses for V-Ray are in use.

          Best regards,
