  • Weird white spots

Does anyone know what the white splotches on the table in the foreground (right hand bottom corner) are?

    All materials are vray materials...

    Any suggestions appreciated!

    Thanks,

Found it. Vray lights with high multipliers seem to cause them.

I realise this is an old thread but Im having the same problem. So would you say lowering the a vraydome light with a HDRI and then adjusting the exposure on the physical camera might solve this problem..

Oh geez, I can't remember all of it too well but lowering the multiplier on Vray lights and also Vray light mats definitely helped in my case. And Jerome is right about 'Check sample visibility' in the Light cache settings also solving problems (more problems with light leakage from what I remember).

Hope you get it sorted. Let us know.

...also I only ever use a multiplier of 1 with the Vray domelight and .exr or .hdri and then adjust the exposure of camera rather than the domelight or .exr output. Works quite well.

Ok. Maybe this is a different problem Im having. I dont have light leaks as Im using IRR/BF. No worries.
